Oh Ecuador.....

So.. my apologies for the lame blogging. We've been moving around so much, and reliable internet has been so scarce, that I just haven't gotten a chance to blog. Even now the internet was so slow it took me ten minutes to get to my blog to write this post.

But, in a few days I'll be out of the amazon (yes, I am in the Amazon right now, guess I haven't told you that yet) and back in Quito and I will do a proper update then. I know I already promised that but as long as I can get proper internet there will be a proper post, with some pictures and all, in a few days.

Anyway, I am doing wonderfully (and so is Penner)!! Absolutely loving Ecuador. I miss you all terribly though. Feel free to send me an email. Its hard to respond most of the time since the internet is slow, but I will read it and get back to you as soon as I can.

Anyway, goodbye for now.

Flight to South America... Success

I don't have enough time for a proper post today I'm afraid. Just wanted everyone back home to know I arrived safe and sound, and that, so far, Ecuador seems lovely!

238 Days of Summer

So... it's time for a new adventure!

I haven't blogged for a while, as you may notice. That's probably a good thing though. If you aren't aware of what I've been doing since my last post (from South Africa two years ago), then I'll fill you in. I put my traveling on hold and finished my studies, fun fun. So yes, you should be very excited that I didn't blog about that. But now the studies are over! I had the official grad ceremony and everything.....

So what does life hold for me now? Well, I decided to give myself a little grad gift. I gave myself 238 days to celebrate finally getting that little piece of paper from UofM, and 238 days to delay joining "the real world" haha. I'm off to South America!

Anyway, that's all I have for now. I should probably get off the computer and maybe start packing?? I haven't left yet.. four more days and I'll be on a flight with my dear friend Sarah, headed for Ecuador! So I would assume that my next update will come from there. We're there for three weeks on a Gap Adventure tour (www.gadventures.com) before heading to Peru. So the updates will start very soon... but I have to leave first. So you can probably expect my first real post.... next week?
